All Day Trail Rides for Beginner to Intermediate Riders 
This is a fantastic ride through beautiful scenery, crossing creeks, riding through picturesque farmland into the bush trails surrounded by the great Kangaroo Valley escarpments! It's an adventure not to be missed! Riders will be accompanied by two experienced instructors accredited by Horse Safety Australia. The All Day Rides are a fantastic way to improve riding skills riding through the open landscape. Cost $160.00 per rider. Please book in advance as these rides fill up quickly.


All Day Equestrian Clinics - Cross Country & Working Equitation
Join us for a great day of riding instruction in Cross Country Jumping & Working Equitation for intermediate to experienced riders. There will be obstacles, gates and jumps to negotiate. Improve your riding skills while enjoying a great day at the Kangaroo Valley Horses beautiful property, "Riverstone"   Cost $160.00 per rider. Bookings are essential.

All Day Trail Ride for Intermediate to Experienced Riders
These rides cover a fair distance. Riders are required to be confident in the walk and trot with some experience in the canter. We will be riding through beautiful scenery negotiating varied terrain enjoying relatively untouched riding trails. For a true adventure in the saddle join us for a great ride!  Cost $160.00 per rider. These rides are very popular, please get in early to secure your position.

Night Riding!
Have you ever ridden by the light of the full moon? It is truly beautiful! Riders will meet at the Kangaroo Valley Horses stables at 5.30pm to tack up and prepare for hopefully a beautiful sunset. Together we ride out at dusk and adjust to the diminishing light. This is a peaceful and breathtaking adventure leaving lasting memories. The creeks sparkle in the moonlight. As the mist rises it simply takes your breath away. For safety reasons riders are required to be confident in the walk and trot. If you are a beginner rider and would like to join these beautiful rides, why not learn to ride by joining riding lessons with our instructors. Night rides finish around 9.00pm. Cost $120.00

All Day Equestrian Clinic - Riding Troupe Lines, Patterns, Swimming with the horses, bareback riding!
All ground work and riding is under instruction with qualified riding instructors accredited by Horse Safety Australia. Riders do not require troop line or bareback experience to enjoy this great clinic. Cost $160.00 per rider for one Clinic - $150.00 per day for 2 clinics or $140.00 per day to join 3 clinics.

All ground work and riding is under instruction with qualified riding instructors accredited by Horse Safety Australia. Riders do not require competition or Gymkhana experience. This day is an opportunity to learn how to compete on horseback. The aim is to gain confidence in the saddle, to learn how to ride in gymkhana events and to improve the riders personal best. Instructors will assist riders to develop skills from beginner to experienced riders.
This clinic includes instruction in grooming, plaiting and tacking up, a riding lesson in the dressage arena and instruction throughout the fun gymkhana.
Cost $160.00 per rider for one Clinic - $150.00 per day for 2 clinics or $140.00 per day to join 3 clinics.

Riding Camps are open to school age children from beginner riders comfortable in the walk and trot, to the more experienced rider.

Children are supervised at all times and receive instruction from the Kangaroo Valley Horses qualified riding instructors accredited with Horse Safety Australia.
The cost includes accommodation in a charming country cottage, all delicious meals, all horse hire and riding instruction and four full days of amazing fun, laughter and improving riding and horsemanship skills! $670.00 per rider.

Riding Camps are fully supervised. Instructors are accredited with Horse Safety Australia  are current Senior First Aid accredited with St John Ambulance and approved by the Working With Children Check office of the Children's guardian NSW government.

The amazing camp program includes riding instruction in the dressage arena, incredible trail rides to truly beautiful destinations, working on the ground with horses developing Natural Horsemanship skills and caring for their daily needs, a Fun Gymkhana and an adventurous Cross Country Riding course! The aim is to help children to gain confidence riding and working on the ground with horses and to improve riding skills while having the best time ever! 

The total cost of the four day camps including a designated horse for camp, all horse riding and instruction, full time supervision and all delicious meals & bunk style accommodation is $670.00. The cost of the five day riding camps is $850.00 per rider.

All day Cross Country Equestrian Clinic
These are great days of riding & instruction open to adults & children.

We begin with a riding lesson in the arena including instruction in bending and show jumping. After lunch we ride throughout the Kangaroo Valley Horses property enjoying a Cross Country riding course where the jumps, gates and obstacles are attempted at the riding level of the individual riders, under instruction, from the beginner to the more experienced rider. Cost $160.00 per day to attend 1 or 2 Clinics, $140 per day to attend 3 clinics.

All Day Trail Rides!
Fantastic trial riding through incredible scenery for beginner to intermediate riders. Open to adults and children confident in the walk and trot. If you are not sure about your riding ability why not have a riding lesson in the arena with the Kangaroo Valley Horses riding instructors to improve confidence and to develop riding skills. Cost $160.00 per day to attend 1 or 2 Clinics/ All day rides, $140 per day to attend 3 clinics.

Fun Gymkhana
Enjoy a whole day of horse fun including working on the ground preparing horses for the fun gymkhana. Learn how to groom, plait up and decorate horses for competition. Participants are invited to enjoy a riding lesson in the arena learning sporting skills including bending and show jumping for beginner to intermediate riders. The gymkhana includes Hacking, Barrel Racing riding to improve your personal best under supervision and instruction. This day is not a competition against other riders, it's a fun day learning the skills of competition riding.  
Cost $160.00 per day to attend 1 or 2 Clinics, $140 per day to attend 3 clinics.

Upcoming Dates available for bookings:

February 28th 2015 - For Beginner to Intermediate riders. This ride will be mostly walking and trotting through the Budgong region of the beautiful Kangaroo Valley. The horses are beautiful and well trained. The riding instructors and trail guides love to ride and to assist you to gain confidence  and to improve your riding skills. Open to adults and children.
 
March 28th 2015 - For Intermediate to Experienced riders. This ride is a walk, trot & canter ride. We cover a fair distance over the day in order to return before dark; riders must be confident in the trot and have some experience cantering. Riding instructors are available on the ride to assist with riding skills. These rides are unforgettable! Open to adults and children.

April 9th 2015 - For Beginner to Intermediate Riders.

Cost of an All Day Trail Ride is $160.00 per rider. Bookings in advance are essential.

All trail rides are open to Adults & Children. Please note that first time riders with Kangaroo Valley Horses under the age of 11 years must complete a riding lesson in the arena prior to riding on the open trail.
